Why is it not accepting my email address?

Zikbay doesn't accept duplicate emails. Make sure that you register a new email with your account. If you are sure that you have not registered the email before with zikbay, please contact us.

What is the "Buy/Sell" link?

All Buy and sell ads, after being posted by users, are displayed in these page. Viewers can search for what is being sold and what is needed. Viewers can send comments and messages to the owner of the ad.

What is the "Hotels" link?

The Hotels link will show all hotel ads around the world with contact informations.You can check rates and compare. Get the lates of room discounts and packages the hotel has to offer. This is a very helpful and useful page for someone planning to travel. Unlike other websites, our hotels link gives you the hotels direct information so you can contact them directly. CHECK IT OUT!!!

What is "Post Ad-FREE" link?

Click on the "Post Ad" link to start posting ads for free. Just make sure that you have registered and sgined in to your account. Post your own Ad NOW!

How to Post an ad? (click here for step by step guide in posting ads)

• Sign in to your account
• Click “Post Ads-FREE”
• Choose the category and type of your ad
• Enter all the ad information including the appropriate location information.
• Then click "finish"

When I click on the "Post-Ads FREE" link, it asked me of my username and password again. Why?

The likely reason for that is that you were idle for a period of time. You need to re-enter you login information.

How many ads and what type of ads can I post?

You can post just about any type of and as many ads as you want but you have to be responsible enough to make sure that no other person is harmed by your ad. Scam Ads will be deleted by Zikbay. (read our user agreement)

How long can we post the Ads for free?

Your ad can be posted on the site as long as you want for free. But the validity period of the can only be up to 21 days. In this case, you just need to renew the ad by going to "My Ads and Profile" and click edit to edit the validity period for another 21 days.

I cannot find the right category for my ad, what should I do?

It is very important for your ad to be placed under the right category. It is an efficient way to make sure that viewers who saw your ads are your targeted market. If you can't find the appropriate category for your ad, temporarily place them under others and email us so we can add the appropriate category.

What do I type in the Title box?

You type the title or the name of your ad. But put a little trick description to your title that would catch the attention of viewers.

What should I enter on the description window?

Here you can enter all the necessary information and description of the product or services that you are advertising. You can easily enter the description of your ad using a MS word like interface.

Why is it I'm getting an error with the URL info?

Make sure that you type, "http://" before the address.

What is location information? Can I edit it for the appropriate information of the ad?

Information Location, is the information of the location of the ad poster. By default, what shows on the location information is the information that the user entered during the registration process. But you can definitely edit the informations to correspond with your ad.

When I click "finish", it gives me an error saying some fields needs to be corrected like state/region, blank information and others...

Take note of the error message and follow it to fix the problem. But if the problem persist, email us.

Can I add photos to my ads? How?

Yes, you can upload up to 5 photos for your ad. Check our step by step guide on adding photo

How can I set the dafault photo for my ad?

By default, the first photo that you upload will be the default photo for you ad. You can change the default photo by clicking on the small camera icon on the left of the photo that you want to set as default.

When I viewed my finished ad, the photos look awkward or funny?

Make sure that the size or dimension of your photos is not too big. You can base it on the upload box.

Why are there more tabs when entering hotel descriptions? What are those extra tabs for?

ZIKBAY.com's early plan is to provide free ad posting with more emphasis on hotels. We wanted to give hotel reviews and recommendations to help and guide travellers get a safe and comfortable shelter to their destination. Thats why hotel ad posters are given a chance to promote their hotel by posting an overview of their hotel, a detailed room description and services, ameneties available,location and their seasonal rates.

How can I add room and rates for hotels?

Entering room rates for hotels can be time consuming but the result would be a detailed and seasonal rate information available to viewers and potential customers. See the step by step guide of posting room and room rates.

How many rooms can I enter per hotel?

Right now, you can enter only up to 10 rooms.

What do I do if the room name doesnt fit on the name field?

You can either abbreviate some words or take some non important keyword of the room names.

Why is it that the photo for rooms, facilities and locations doesnt show up on it's respective page but only shows up on the left side of the main page?

This is because you forget to save or click the floppy icon after assigning the photos to the corresponding page. Make sure that after setting a photo to a page or after editing photo's make sure you click on the correspondig disk icon to save the changes.

Why do I need to set a date in entering rooms and room rates?

The purpose of setting up the dates is tio establish the validity period of the rates. As we know, hotel rates are seasonal.

What is "My Ads and Profile" link?

This a very important link for registered users because this their zikbay homepage. Registered users can view and edit all their works here from user profile, posted ads, current and inactive ads. Registered users can also unlist/delete ads and edit photos.

How do I view, edit and delte/unlist my ads?

You click on "My Ads and Profile" link then it will show all your ads. In line with each ad, you will have a corresponding edit, photo and unlist link. Just click on the approprite link of the action that you want to do.

Is there a chance I can still recover the ads that I have unlisted? How can I reactivate them?

Yes, you can still recover the unlisted ads. Once you unlisted an Ad, zikbay doesn't delte them right away. It goes to your inactive ads folder. It can only be finally deleted once you click "remove" from the inactive folder. To view and reactivate inactive ads, just simply click on the inactive ads link and click the corresponding "relist" link of the ad.

Is there a way I can check on who and how many viewed my ads?

By clicking on the "My ads and Profile" link, you will see the number of views your ad has been viewed. But unfortunately, theres no way of knowing who.

What is the Community link?

When you click on the community link, it will bring you the community website of ZIKBAY. Here you can post BLOGS, FORUMS and ARTICLES. Visit the ZIKBAY Community Now
